January 15th, 2024. Teams had the ability to protect up to 42 players from their roster. All unprotected  players and those unclaimed in the earlier draft, were available for selection.

The Stallion draft was a mix of new blood and their own returning unprotected players. From the list below, Jalen Morton, Ryan Langam, Jamir Ross-Johnson, Bo Scarbrough, Zaquandre White, Bobby Holly and Myron Mitchell all have some history with Birmingham.

Coleman, the team's first selection, started 12 games at right tackle at UMass in 2018 and an additional 12 at left tackle in 2019. He was a 7th-round draft selection of the Miami Dolphins in 2021.
